I guess we share the same loves in terms of dress. I love this too. Yes, that is a little girl. I love your idea of lighting a candle and passing it along. I think this is what blogging is all about. We share and pass the inspirations along to one another. Thanks for your inspirations too, Kari.

Yes, the layered look! Show me someone dressed in layers of fabric, barefoot, with a pail, and I will be in a trance for hours. And the inside of a silk umbrella ~ pure poetry. And that precious little girl, or is it a boy? for it looks like that time period when little boys wore fancy dresses. This is a wonderful idea, sharing inspirations. It is like lighting a candle from someone else’s candle, until everyone’s candle is lit. The passing on of light from one to another. What a wonderful way to start the new year! xo Kari
