EWA I WALLA
FORM AND ELEGANCE
INSIDE THE SILK UMBRELLA
For the next few days, I hope to post a few photos of things that inspire me and will take me into another space in my creative room and mind. Maybe you will find something that inspires you too.

a visual journal of sorts….
Yes, this is exactly what it is.
Very fun! Definitely some inspiring stuff. I’m about to dive into some cloth sewing.
I mean clothing sewing.
I will be very excited to see what you create!
beautiful. visually inspiring. thanks. and happy new year.
Happy New Year to you as well!
Yes, the layered look! Show me someone dressed in layers of fabric, barefoot, with a pail, and I will be in a trance for hours. And the inside of a silk umbrella ~ pure poetry. And that precious little girl, or is it a boy? for it looks like that time period when little boys wore fancy dresses. This is a wonderful idea, sharing inspirations. It is like lighting a candle from someone else’s candle, until everyone’s candle is lit. The passing on of light from one to another. What a wonderful way to start the new year! xo Kari
I guess we share the same loves in terms of dress. I love this too. Yes, that is a little girl. I love your idea of lighting a candle and passing it along. I think this is what blogging is all about. We share and pass the inspirations along to one another. Thanks for your inspirations too, Kari.
Beautiful and that green one at the end really inspires me!
Ever since I moved to Oregon, my favorite color is green, for very good reason. Of course there is nothing better than green silk!
