Lately I have been a little discombobulated. I get this way when I look at my calendar, and I realize there is more to do than I have time and energy. Not complaining. Just searching for inspiration to see me though, as this is the one thing that takes me to a place of acceptance. Where did I leave off in my last post? What was my last sentence? What was my last idea? Not sure, but I think it doesn’t matter. What matters right now is beauty to hold me steady in the days ahead. Just the idea of beauty moves me from a state of pondering to one of inspiration. It is the art of longing, a place I hold very dear.
We are traveling home to Portland tomorrow. I am ready to get into a routine of blogging and reconnecting for a few days, and then off to a bridal shower for my youngest daughter.

No, I don’t think it matters. Just finding the beauty… and that last photo is a beautiful one.
the idea of beauty is always enough… you certainly are a busy gal…here, there and everywhere.
Here, there, and everywhere is where I will be until Jan. 16th and then I will be going into a deep sleep like Rumpelstilskin. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Phyllis, perhaps you have turned your beautiful head away from us because you are a mother of daughters who need the greater part of your attention turned upon them right now. How could that be a bad thing!?
Just post a gorgeous picture or 3 (that house silhouette in the sunset, with a light shining in the window!) every once in awhile and I will be happy, knowing that you are walking in beauty.
Carry on! Love, Julia
What a nurturing and supportive friend you are! Thank you, Julia
Lovely photo. I too have been discombobulated during the past few weeks(isn’t every though during the holidays?) Have a fabulous time at the shower and congratulations.
Beautiful pictures. I am happy to see you back in blog-land.
You are missed when you are away.
Beauty is a good thing to inspire one.
I wish you beautiful days ahead.
: )
I adore the photo of you…beautiful hair and such a great hair style.
The photo of your home is hauntingly beautiful.
