We just arrived in Mendocino last night after a twelve hour drive with the three cats. We were all glad you get out of our cages.
Jeanette and her fiance arrive tomorrow evening. My brother and his partner arrive Thanksgiving morning.
I am not sure I will be posting too much, but I hope to at least be present at some point. Jeanette and I also hope to create our new blog too. Hope everyone in the states has a nice Thanksgiving.

I just stole that third image and made it my desktop background…permission please ….it’s so wonderful!
me too….i need a beach moment too.
Thank you for the lovely beach photos. And have a wonderfully happy thanksgiving with your family!
One of my brother’s may be in Mendocino for Thanksgiving with my family that lives there.
I do love that beach…. Happy Thanksgiving.
Gorgeous photos. I miss the ocean so much.
Used to live near Santa Barbara…sigh! Anyway,
looking forward to seeing your new blog. Have
a lovely Thanksgiving with family and friends.
: )
What a lovely time you will have. And I look forward to the blog.
The photos are so enjoyable. I keep thinking that someday, I too, will join the ranks of “wonderful photographer” but practice is needed.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I like that your blog presence is a bit spare. Each post is an absolute gem, well worth waiting for, and I do. Mmmmm I can smell the Mendocino salt breezes, they are blowing to me on a Silknewind.
happy holiday….a bit belated. hope your’s was just as wonderful as you hoped for…..
What a beautiful area to live in….I adore your photos, the last one is especially beautiful.
I hope your Thanksgiving was a good one…we just tossed the last of the turkey out…my family has had enough turkey for the year. Funny how there are never left overs from the Christmas Goose
There is nothing like the ocean to help you expand and see the larger picture.
Nothing like a sunset over the ocean.
Nice picture of the waves and the cliffs.
I also get to enjoy living on the coast in Eureka, CA.
I have enjoyed reading your blog. Very informative and I really like the slipper ornaments.
We always go through Eureka on our way back up to Portland, and we always stop and get a coffee at Starbucks along the highway going north. The car naturally veers off to the side now, it has become so habitual. I will have to see how you are doing in Eureka via your blog.
