I haven’t forgotten my need to get back to Maryhill. I will post tomorrow. This is one of the most beautiful paintings in their permanent collection. It is titled “Solitude” by Frederic, Lord Leighton (English, 1830-1896).

I always marvel at people who can
paint such lovely, ethereal and realistic
paintings.
That is so lovely. You can feel the fabric and the flesh. And I want to tell her “I am here for you if you want to talk about it”. I can see how much you enjoyed you walk through.
