Tears are elongated dots.

I had the urge to get out my dot quilt this morning…it was calling to me to add some more dots, but this time they were elongated dots, tear dots.

I had this impulse to reach out and touch them, to bring them closer to me, gather them in.
Gathering tear dots, I like that. And love the colors of the long, meandery stripes. Julia
I love the long strips of fabric. The hand and
falling leaves/dots is really a clever idea. : )
I love the stitched words… very nice.
Really like this. I see leaves too. Maybe after the tears are caught in your hand they turn to leaves and grow into something else?
oh, nice, tear drops could be melting dots…
I was trying to leave a comment early this morning but I had opened an email that gave me a virus. Yikes, I was so upset by it and also getting it cleaned up that I forgot I was trying to leave a comment.
I was curious to see if the stripes were hand sewn. It is really beautiful and it looks so smooth. Love the colors.
This is beautiful! I love the imagery and the idea of tear drops. I especially like the purplish hand, I love hands! Can’t wait to see more.
the addition of your hand is perfect!
I really like the idea of tear dots as well. I like the flow of your quilt…and often I want to sooth my pain…so your hand is very appropriate. Although often I wish I could touch it, but often I hide from it. It’s good to get it out and look at it as you have done.
