i think meandering is like walking but with a lot of side trips. richer somehow. and you most certainly always get there eventually. or who cares really?

Hi Phyllis, it has been far too long since my last visit to your wonderful blog, I think my paths have been meandering like mad of late! I like the way you have drawn this comparison between your sense of your journey through life, and the ornate and sinuous design of the gorgeous French fabric. I am hoping that my recent meanderings have brought me back to a place where I can focus a little more on more interesting and fulfilling things than I have of late! But i wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the meanderings, I think we need times like that to clear our minds and hearts, as well as beginning the walk down a few paths that aren’t quite right. Lois xx

I’ve been meandering lately too and sometimes color is all you need and texture too!

I’d add texture to color and enchantment. Meandering can be a good thing, although it might not seem like it in the moment. I love that top fabric.

I think that that is all I have ever needed (color and enchantment). One cannot be separated from the other for me. And the ballet, were practice is so essential, is entrenched with color. But any art form, because of the repetitiveness of practice, becomes colorful, don’t you think?
The fabrics are lovely. Where do you store all these lovelies?
