I guess that is why I no longer want to ski and head down a mountain. Injuries at my age do not look too exciting. So I am content to be more careful and less rebellious. However, when it comes to color, I say just do whatever you love and whatever excites you. There are no mistakes (personal opinion).

I am actually considering painting our kitchen orange too. In fact, I have three paint chips on the wall in orange tones.

I think you have the same feeling of adventure and free-spirit as I do when it comes to color. No rules, just do what you love!

I am still trying to decide what to do. Not an easy answer it seems. I am leaning now towards making the dress. More research in the next few days.

I love the colors. It always feels so bold to make a big slash of color. And I am just like you. I can envison myself doing just about anything but not put on a new roof. After I broke my elbow flying off a ladder, I am a little hesitant with that. But look at all the wonderful color you get to feast your eyes on!!!! I love it.

I too love the colors! We did our kitchen/dining area in orange a few years ago, and we love it, it really works for a kitchen.

So how did the oil vs. acrylic do for the shelves? Does it make the paint ‘sturdier’?

Love those colors! I’m going to paint one corner of the living room a shade of green pretty close to “science experiment.” I think the next thing I’m going to paint is the stairwell and stairs. I still love the idea you posted about each step being a different color. Not sure what color to do the walls. It’s very dark except for about one hour a day.

Have fun with the dress choice. That’s a tough one!

I’m a great believer in doing it myself too! I also find it fascinating that our choice of colours changes with both the season of the year and the season of ourselves.

I love the silver dress-but knowing how slender you are, I reckon you would look stunning in the middle purple one. In my humble opionion, I think you might be too “understated” in the silver. But that may be what you want. Lovely choice to have.
