In lieu of our canceled trip to Mt. Whitney, we are leaving in a bit for Ashland, Oregon for one night and then to Crater Lake the following night. Crater Lake has special memories. My parents spent their honeymoon here, and it has been a favorite of my children for many years. I hope to read and stitch and enjoy the incredible, quiet beauty.

Have a wonderful time…in this beautiful place.
I love the photos of you Kittie in the photos below. Whenever I need a feeling of peacefulness my Brie seems to know and comes over to purr for me.
I will also be going away to Santa Fe, NM leaving on Sunday
Have a wonderful stay in Santa Fe, NM. I have never been there, but know it is a spiritually rich and artistic community. I will look forward to your posts when you return.
What an amazing picture! Crater Lake has to be one of the most beautiful wonders of our world.
I am sorry you were not able to make it to Mt Whitney but there is always next year…. and there will be next year.
Enjoy your time at Crater Lake. It sure beats sleeping on hard rock and surviving a thunder and lighting storm on top of a mountian.
I hope you feel better soon.

For someone who has made the summit of Mt Whitney 3 times now, you should know all the trials of that journey. Congratulations on your latest accomplishment!
My mom and dad spent part of their honeymoon there too.
Have a great time….
Must be the perfect place to honeymoon.
It is beautiful, I have never been there but the photos (that I have seen) are lovely. I hope you are repairing your health.
Someday you might want to make that journey to Crater.
Have a wonderful time in such a beautiful place. The photograph took my breath away, I’m sure it is even more breathtaking in person(as I will probably not get to see it in person would love to see many more photos of it). Blessings and have fun!
Crater Lake calls for the photo-op every time you see it. Once there, the compulsion to take photos takes over.
