A velvet that seems to lend itself to the feelings of fall and change of season. I am finding a few crimson colored leaves on my morning walks. It is time to reflect on how we will spend our time indoors and what it will mean to us when the tulips begin to bloom again.
Live each season as it passes: breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of each.

What lovely fabric. It seems to demand you to reach out and touch.
How is your cold. When I walk, I think of you climbing a mountain and the level ground seems to be nothing and I should go on forever. But I don’t.
Do take care!
I love this time of year. I find things I love each month, but this is my favorite (I have very few of those that I can say easily).
beautiful photo of a beautiful fabric. leaves and light are so much elements of change.
Very beautiful. And I guess I should feel guilty saying this after such a god awful summer weatherwise but I’m looking forward to the time when solitary stitching is a little more acceptable then stitching inside in the sunshine.
