I arrived home this afternoon to find an Abbaye de Cluny in full bloom. What a nice greeting this was on a cloudy, cool day in Mendocino.

Then I decided to go for a walk to get some exercise and restore some energy and found the geese alive and well in town, but still looking for some water in a pond that has been dry for many months now. I guess they are waiting for the winter storms to bring lots of rain. It just might happen.

We are beginning to narrow our search for the perfect wedding dress. This shop we went to in LA was really a great experience. All the dresses were resale. Looks like the wedding industry is getting green too.
Thank you for visit and nice comment on my blog! I too like your blog; both your sttiching and photos. I think it´s hard to beginn again after summer; I haven´t anything new to share, I know new stitching, so it is most photos from my walks!
Abbaye de cluny is one of my favorite roses. I have one and I got one for my mother too.
Hi, it was lovely to see the rose.
I hesitated to mention that the Fashion Institute Scholarship store has wedding dresses that are last year’s designs and I haven’t looked at them but they would be worth a look, espcecially if I were in the market for a dress. Besides, then the $1.oo a yard fabric can also be scanned. I love the fabric center.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment on my blog — I’m happy to find your site. And I loved your dot on your last post!
Diane
i don’t know much about roses, but that one is a beauty.
