“It is only when we silence the blaring sounds of our daily existence that we can finally hear the whispers of truth that life reveals to us, as it stands knocking on the doorsteps of our hearts.”

The night is very quiet, no sirens or cars going by, just the cats roaming, and the squirrel on the side of the house beginning to store food for winter. I have spent the last four days cleaning, tending the garden, making phone calls, starting a new book, and thinking about time again. And also pondering dots and circles and rounded shapes thanks to inspiration from over here. I am planning tomorrow to grab some time and work in my space on some form of the dot. I am seeing the world these days through circles, rings, moons, wheels, oranges, saucers, anything that reminds me of dots. I think I need to release some dots to the world and see where they go.
One of the things that I like about dots is that there is a wholeness, a completeness; but that a circle can still expand or shrink (the pupil of an eye, a pebble dropped in the water). It’s a pretty powerful and magical shape. And I love that quiet moment when the world seems so still.
it is quite harmonious to express yourself with the round and round…. great picture. i feel the silence.
What a wonderful quote. That really does say what happens, if we are so lucky to quiet the mind. All comes clear.
A really beautiful photo. I look forward to seeing how the dot inspiration begins to turn into a creation. I loved the stone in your friends blog, I love round sones, I have collected them for a while now. There is something complete and perfect about a round stone, a microcosm.
