When we see this gigantic Paul Bunyan 40 miles south of the Oregon border, we know we are a little over one third home. The trip is usually 11-12 hours depending on stops. Yesterday it was 13 hours because of two areas of road construction. The three cats were pretty delighted to get out of their cages when we finally arrived.

The house needs to be cleaned, suitcases unpacked, and the garden needs tending, but I am home near my fabrics and projects and anxious to settle back into a routine for awhile. I am hoping this means more consistent posting too. Back to my blog tomorrow. The weather is cool and perfect here after much heat over the last few weeks. Hope everyone is having a pleasant and relaxing weekend.
You take the cats with you!!! That solves that mystery for me. The poor babies would miss you! I know mine give me hell if I am gone for 8 hours, let alone when I go for a couple of days. Then, I really have to do penance.
there’s no place like home!
Welcome home and hopefully I will be a little more consistent with my blog too(and I will be thrilled to be inspired by your blogging too!).
You know, Paul has gotten smaller as I’ve gotten older. Hope you are settling in well.
It is always good to be back home. I think people crave routine
welcome back. relax into it….
