She delights in so many new challenges, a wonderful example of the creative potential we as women have in the second half of our lives.
Once we have finished bringing up the children, or have retired from work, we can feel lost and empty, or somehow cheated of our full potential, but the Andreas of this world show us that every day is a fresh creative start, teeming with possibilities for creativity and fulfillment!
Thank you for sharing this Phyllis, it has been a real inspiration, as I have been having a bit of an emotional ‘wobble’, as it is less than 2 months before my only daughter leaves for University.

So much of creating art is solitary work so the acknowledgment is very nurturing. The boughs and bark are eucalyptus and the more delicate piece with woven and sewn rice paper are plum branches. Right now is a lovely time to visit foggy Mendocino coast if your roasting in the heat.
