Yesterday my husband and I headed down to Ashland, Oregon to meet our daughter and son-in-law and three grandchildren. In the interim, my husband flew to San Antonio from a nearby airport, and I am waiting here until Sunday when the rest of the family arrives. I will drive the grandchildren back to Portland with me where we will meet Grandpa on Monday. It is all convoluted. And as life sometimes has the upper hand, I cannot get my camera to download any photos. It is a fairly new camera, so this is a bit baffling to me, and I have never had this problem before now. I will do my best to stay in touch the next few days, but it may be a bit sporadic. So in lieu of the post I was going to do, here is a neat turtle sculpture that my husband took with his iphone yesterday and emailed to me from the airport. I like turtles, and this is how I want to be in my mind right now….slow and easy and sometimes off by myself. I will try to do a better job tomorrow in terms of this posting and responding to others.
