Your black thumb sounds a bit ominous. I think some of us start out as gardeners and others not. I had a whole line of people, many generations down that were plant lovers, so I think this must leave an indelible impression.

I guess I did mention somewhere that I love pearls. I have noticed that some women wear pearls everyday of their lives, whether with jeans or dresses. As collecting roses, they seems like a nice habit.

I have found that once you plant one rose, you might as well resign yourself to fifty because, the more you learn and read about, the more you have to have. I agree it is a soothing and lovely weakness.

I have not considered fusing the two fabrics, but that seems like it might be a good option.

I love your roses(I don't know if I mentioned it before but flowers put their leaves in front of their eyes when I walk past them in fear I will kill them with my black thumb, unless of course they are expensive annuals, then they live). I love the card can't wait to see what you do with it!

I love roses too. They are one of my weaknesses (do I really need 22 different ones on a small lot?), but what a lovely weakness to have!

Your fabric combo is beautiful. Have you considered fusing them?
