“How many creatures walking on this earth
Have their first being in another form?”

All week long I have been thinking about a piece I would like to create. Today I finally had the time to do some printing of images on fabric that I want to work into the design. I am still mulling over the format, but I will probably begin small and then see where it goes.

Those are lovely! I really like the possibilities of printing fabric.
Deb,
I think this is a fun medium as well. I just wish I knew more about the tech side of it so I could really know the range of possibility and utilize this.
Isn’t blogging wonderful? I learn so much from all the experience I read about (I now, consider bogging my “higher education” for filling in the gaps). Did you use EQ Printables transfers? I have been mulling over the possiblities. How easy was it? Your choices for the transfers onto fabric and the quote are terrific. I can see this as a wonderful quilt.
Pat,
I like your definition of blogging. That is really true. I also consider it a form of a magazine only better because there is connection and feedback. For the printing I used Dharma again. I used to buy the EQ, but found them to be too expensive. Now I use D. because they come in variety packets and seem to be more cost effective. It was so easy that a small child could do this!
cool. i have a lot more to say about this subject, after a lot of trial and error with printing on fabric. i will post about it soon, as soon as i get back in the swing from all this time outside.
Jude, I think it is a topic that warrants more discussion. There seems to be a lot of interest. No hurry in anything. Right now there are other things calling you…like peace and quiet and probably beauty too.
