Denim is such a perfect foil for hand made and unusual textiles.

I have a denim frock coat that I’m going to treat in a very similar manner, using indigo dyed shibori work I’ve done at college, demobilization ties, and some African narrow loom fabric. I could do it on my own but will take it to a ten weekeco-textiles class as my project. It will be a heavy coat, but fun.

Yours is much better than mine. :) I think my biggest problem was the denim jacket I was trying to revamp didn’t fit me as well as it should have.
