This is the back of the cat piece. The fabric is a vintage silk brocade. The butterfly is cut from a hanging that I purchased in an antique shop. It was very long with sleeves on each end for the dowels. Butterflies were stenciled in random areas. I felt the image fitting for the title of this piece. I might hang it on the wall or let it be an experiment to recharge my creative thinking that has been mired in too much routine and daily tasks formed by the proverbial lists of life maintenance. Right now I am playing with color, image, and form trying not to be too definite or narrow in my thinking.
